We do not sell your personal information. To provide specific app features, we share limited data with the following trusted partners:OpenAI (GPT-4o): When you use the "Scan" feature for botanical analysis, your photo is sent to OpenAI. This data is used solely to generate your care report and is not used to train AI models.Supabase: We use Supabase for secure encrypted database storage and account management.Legal Compliance: We may disclose data only if required by law to comply with legal obligations.4. DATA SECURITY & RETENTION

By accessing and using Bonsai Buddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian permission to use the App, in compliance with 2026 safety regulations.3. AI ANALYSIS & NO WARRANTY (CRITICAL)
The App uses Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI GPT-4o) to provide tree identification and care suggestions.Educational Use Only: All AI-generated output is for informational purposes.Assumption of Risk: Bonsai are living organisms. You agree that Bonsai Buddy is not liable for the health, injury, or death of any plant resulting from following the App’s suggestions. Always consult a human professional for high-value specimens.4. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
Some features require a paid subscription.Billing: Payments are processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.Refunds: All refund requests must be handled through the respective App Store (Apple or Google).5. USER CONTENT & ACCOUNTS
Photos: You retain ownership of photos you upload. You grant us a limited license to process these photos solely to provide the App's services.Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.6. PROHIBITED USES
